The Suomen Keskusta (Centre Party of Finland) and Liike Nyt (Movement Now) filed the interpellation asking the government to explain the reasons behind the failure.

They opposition leaders said that the unemployment situation weakened the confidence of the youths in the future.

Pointing out the worsening situation of the job marker, they held the government responsible for the situation and asked government clarification in this regard.

The opposition leaders expressed concern about the situation of about 76,000 young people of below 30 years old, who remained unemployed in the country.

Earlier on Tuesday, the government responded to the interpellation and the parliament held a debate on the issue and on Wednesday held vote on the motion.

Earlier on June 3, the two opposition parties tabled the no-confidence motion in the parliament.
