A man was killed when another man allegedly attacked him with a sharp weapon in Oulu, a municipality under North Ostrobothnia region on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident took place at about 4:00 p.m. inside a residence at Korvensuora area in the locality.
Responding to an alarm police and rescue service people rushed to the spot and found the victim dead inside the house.
Police also found another man, who informed the emergency services, in the house and suspected him of the murder.
Police arrested the suspect from there.
Police, however, did not divulge the identities of the victim and the suspect but said that they had been living in the house.
Police did not disclose the detail about the incident at the initial stage of the investigation and are investigating into the case as suspected murder.
