One person was killed after falling from the roof of the Kemi municipality administrative building on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The incident took place at about 2:00 p.m. and responding to an alarm police and rescue service people rushed to the spot immediately.
They found the person dead on the spot and recovered the body from there.
Police, however, did not divulge the identity of the deceased and the detail about the incident could not be known immediately.
Police are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the incident.
At the preliminary stage, police did not suspect any crime link to the death.
