A man drowned in Kirkkonummi on Sunday while another person was killed in a road accident in Kuusamo late Saturday night, police said in separate press releases.
A man went missing while swimming in water near Morsfjärden beach in Kirkkonummi, a municipality in Uusimaa region on Sunday.
Responding to an alarm, Police, Border Guard and rescue service people rushed to the spot and a Border Guard helicopter spotted the drowned man in the water and recovered his body.
Police did not divulge the detail identity of the deceased but said that he was 30 years old man.
They are investigating into the case to find out the reason behind the death.
Meanwhile, one person was killed in a road accident on Kemijärventie road in Kuusamo, a municipality under Northern Ostrobothnia region on late Saturday night.
The accident took place at about 11:20 p.m. when a private car skidded off the road and fell into the roadside ditch.
The driver of the car, who was alone onboard, died on the spot.
Police, however, did not divulge detail identity of the deceased.
Police and the Accident Investigation Board are investigating into the incident to find out the reasons behind the accident.
