Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will represent Finland at the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome on Thursday and Friday, said an official press release.
During the visit, Orpo will have discussions with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, among others.
The high-level conference aims to bring together leaders and ministers from countries that support Ukraine, along with representatives of international organisations, financial institutions, businesses, regions, municipalities and civil society.
“Relative to its size, Finland is one of Ukraine’s most significant supporters. Since Russia launched its war of aggression, we have provided more than EUR 3.8 billion in support to Ukraine,” said Orpo.
Meanwhile, President Alexander Stubb will attend a Heads of State meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in support of Ukraine on Thursday virtually, said the President Office in a press release.
The meeting was convened by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and President of France Emmanuel Macron.
The meeting will focus on continued support for Ukraine, actions to end Russia’s war of aggression, and related security arrangements.
Prime Minister Petteri Orpo will also participate in the Coalition of the Willing meeting.
Previously, the Heads of State came together at a virtual meeting of the Coalition of the Willing on 10 May 2025.
