Two young people including a woman were killed and another was injured in a car accident at Lahdenväylä in Helsinki on Sunday, police said.
The accident took place at about 4:00 a.m. when a private car skidded off the Koskelantie road and fell into a ditch.
There were four young adult people in the car and one of them died on the spot while two others were injured critically.
The injured people were taken to hospital where one of them succumbed to the wounds, police said on Monday.
The police did not divulge the identities of the victims but said that one of the deceased was man and the rest one was woman.
The Accident Investigation Board and police are investigating into the incident to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident.
The police are continuing the investigation on charges of aggravated endangerment of traffic safety, drunk driving and causing death.
