Two valuable sculptures were stolen from Laila Pullinen Sculpture Park and Home Museum at Sotunki area in Vantaa early Thursday night, police said.
The stolen sculptures were created by artist Laila Pullinen and the combine estimated value is about 140,000 euros.
Police were informed about the disappearance of the sculptures on early Thursday morning at about 5:00 a.m.
"The two stolen works are part of the culturally and historically significant collection of the sculptor Laila Pullinen's sculpture park and home museum," said the head investigator, Inspector Rauno Jämsä in a press release.
The Eastern Uusimaa Police are investigating into the case as aggravated theft.
Police urged the people, particularly eyewitness to provide them with necessary information and help to find out the stolen sculptures.
