Two persons were killed in a road accident in Tuusula, a municipality under Uusimaa region early Saturday night, police said.
The accident took place at Tuomala area when two private cars collided with each other.
Both the drivers of the cars died on the spot while one passenger of one of the cars was injured critically in the accident.
Responding to an alarm rescue service people and police rushed to the spot and covered the bodies.
Police, however, did not divulge the details identities of the deceased.
The reason behind the accident could not be known.
The Accident Investigation Board and police are investigating into the incidents to find out the circumstances surrounding the accident and get more information in this regard.
