The body of the teenage boy, who drowned along with two friends at Kalajoki beach on Friday evening, was recovered late Saturday night, police said.
The crew of a fishing boat and people of the voluntary rescue service- Vapepa recovered his body from the sea at about 11:00 p.m.
The three teenage boys went missing in the sea when they were playing on the beach at Kalajoki, a municipality under Northern Ostrobothnia region at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Rescue Service people, police and coast guards recovered bodies of two children, both were 16 years old while the rest boy of 17 years remained missing.
They conducted search for the third child till 10:00 p.m. but failed to rescue him and suspended the drive for Friday.
Meanwhile, another elderly woman has drowned in Kotka, a municipality in Southeastern Finland on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The incident took place at about 3:50 p.m. when the woman went for swimming at the Santalahti beach.
Bystanders found her body under the water and informed the emergency service.
Police did not divulge the detail identity of the deceased.
Police are investigating into the incident to find out the reason behind the death.
Earlier on Friday, six people including three children have drowned in separate incidents at different parts of the country.
