The Industrial Union (Teollisuusliitto) on Friday issued a warning of six-day strikes to the Technology Industries Employers’ of Finland and The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland, said a press release.
The union submitted the warming of strike from January 27 to February 1to press home its various demands including pay hike.
The strike warning concerns site-specific work stoppages in technology industry, chemical basic industry and in plastics and chemical products industry.
The strike warning concerns 50 companies and a total of 97 sites, employing a total of about 13,100 employees.
The workplace-specific work stoppages, however, will not be apply to emergency work or work that is essential to protecting life and health.
