The Päijät-Häme District Court on Friday remanded a man into custody for his alleged involvement in the killing occurred in Lahti on July 7, police said.
Earlier police arrested three people including a woman on July 7 and 8 in connection with the murder.
After the preliminary investigation police produced a 32-year-old man before the District Court on Friday and the court ordered to remand him into custody.
Police also released the rest two people after interrogation.
The murder took place inside an apartment building at Tonttila in Lahti, a municipality under Päijät-Häme region.
The victim was a 39-year-old man and police found several marks of external injuries at different parts of his body.
Police, however, did not divulge the detail identities of the suspect and the victim.
Police are investigating into the incident and will continue interrogation to find out the motive of the murders.
The date for filing charges of the case was set on November 28.
